Dare I say it . . . ? By far (musically) the best show of my life. The band is cookin', and IT is back. The Dark Star>Stephen>Eleven>Lovelite was worth the wait for me. Shine on, Other Ones!

Great show for all three of the bands when Rusted Root sang the Stone's You Cant Always Get What You Want the crowd went wild. By the highlight was when The Other Ones took stage the started off with Dark Star and then went to Jack Straw which was the best I had ever heard it. But by far the best part of the night was when they played St.Stephen no one was sitting it was one of the best nights of my life. I hope The Other Ones go out on tour again.

Hot, Hot, Hot...I loved the opening of Dark Star and the reprise...Hornsby and the Sax added a great new dimension and the guitar left no void whatsoever. I was transformed back to Live Dead with the Dark Star reprise->St. Stephen-> Eleven->Lovelight although Lovelight coulda rocked just a little more. Can't wait for the next tour.

This was my first "Dead" show, and I thought it was excellent. I am positive that Jerry is real proud of his fellow band members keeping the legacy alive. St. Stephen was played great and I think Box of Rain was done better than on the album. Go Other Ones!! I will surely hit at least 6 shows if they tour next year.

Don't miss these guys; from the opening notes, I knew I was in for a "Grate" musical experience. Bruce Hornsby's piano playing was superb, Phil's bass was clear and clever, conversing wonderfully with the other musicians. The new guitarists would have made Jerry proud. Phil's "Box Of Rain" had me wiping tears from my eyes... it was quite a ride for all of us! As they closed with One More Saturday Night, the nearly-full moon rose over the stage. What a night, and thanks to my fellow NetHeads for setting me up with a ticket and a safe ride. Magick Happens :) :) :)

It was a beautiful day and all of you have been Alpine Valley know the seen... Just awesome!! Dark Star to open was amazing....they really started the show of nice and the entire show flowed from that point... Strong playing by Phil really made the rest of the boys gel. MK and SK were excellent and really opened up by the end of the show.... I hope we can see more of this in the future
