Yikes! First of all, I didn't hear a wheel to start this show. They just came full out with the Other One from the go and powerful it was. Never saw that coming. The rest of the first set was solid with a good Loser, very good El Paso and a fun Pride. Foolish Heart was melodic and powerful and I couldn't have been happier with the Women are Smarter set closer. You could tell from the start that the band was tight and that Bobby was focused and very strong vocally. The sound mix was perfect with waves of energy pulsating off the stage. The second set was EPIC! The Bertha/Good Lovin' opener channeled the 70's and really ramped things up. He's Gone was the weakest song with the band struggling through the guitar break, but that was the only weak spot of the entire show. Half-step was terrific with JK pounding out the vocals and the guitar riffs. King Solomon was hot and then the boys just pounded their way through the Other One verse two and finished last night's show with a rousing Eleven(always a the top of my list). Strong closing with Sugar Mags and US Blues. The whole band was tight and spot on throughout, but I thought tonight belonged to Bobby. He took the majority of the vocals(only dropped one lyric all night) and was as powerful as ever complete with growls, snarls and falsettos to wind out his songs. I caught Wallingford and this show and was completely blown away by what these guys are still bringing to the table. There is nothing like a Furthur show.

I thought I heard a wheel tease, if they played it I must have been buying a beer or something. My girlfriend claims they played part of it but I didn't hear that.
Overall the show was great and rockin' most of the way through.
Memphis blues is sounding better each time they attemt it, but still not there. Loser was pretty damn good. You have love a cowboy song at an indian arena so el paso gets my two enthusiastic thumbs up. I think I've heard Phil n friends do better prides but it still sounded good. Woman r smater was top notch.
Bertha good lovin was great, overall a gret show , loved the king solomans. These guys were rocking. I've seen 6 furthur shows and they keep getting more solid. Off to Denver now for some skiing and brromfield shows, still don't have sat night tix, if anyone has extras I would greatly appreciate buying them from you. Tbkone@gmail.com. I have Friday locked up but I think Saturday is sold out. Check these guys out if you haven't already.
The Bertha good lovin was sweet!

We probably saw the same 3 shows as Dave from Derry: Manchester, Amherst, and Uncasville, and we fully agree that last night took the prize! Can't believe we were lucky enough to get a Bertha especially, but so many other beloved songs. Loved that Alligator! We were also really impressed by how they rocked Foolish Heart, which is usually not such a rocking tune. Fully enjoyed the Dead shows last spring, but think this is THE lineup!

Reading these reviews, I realize how fortunate we've been this tour. I have been lucky enough to see 4 shows, Fairfax VA, 2 Radio City, and thus one at the Mohegansun. The best thing about this show was that except for the 'Eleven' it did not repeat any song from the previous 3 I saw. I was a strong show, but if I had to rank them I would do the following
2-24 Radio City
2-13 fairfax (very close to 2-24 Radio City show - almost a draw)
2-23 Radio City
2-26 Mohegan Sun
So while I have this at the bottom of my list, that just shows how good the other shows were. Bottom line - catch them if you can.

I am Grateful for Every show I see. I am blown away each time I see these guys. They are Full On every time, together or seperate. Its hard to compare this show after seeing both Radio City shows. Mohegan Sun is definitely not my style.
Phil just has this plastered smile on his face that transcends his gratitude, and beautiful spirit. Bobby..He's my boy next to PHiL...
I could not tell if the audience was singing Happy Birthday to Phil after the show..though I was singing it at the top of my lungs..
I thought I heard a little Lovelight coming at one point...thought it may be the encore......

WOW!!! I thought this show was great. Lots of Love!
Also the band went Tribal with an other ones opener!(Idian reservation) LOve it! I bought the sounds boards and in no way or capacity was the wheel the opener I did not even here one note from that song. I hope they play a quick west coast spring tour. As far as I am concerned Amherst was the best show with Orlando a close second. Just my Opion! Id definatly sounds tight!!!

A few different songs/teases to start the first set. Could have sworn I heard a Pocky and not a Wheel - but it seems everyone hears something different before they actually go into the first song...THE OTHER ONE - was powerful right out the gate. Lots of exploratory jamming and I feel is a great warm up tune for this band. Soon after they go right into an Alligator where JK takes the vocals and the backup signers fill out the chorus nicely.

Great show!!! Got to spend my 30th b-day with Bobby and Phil. The band sounds sooo good. Where did John Kadlecik
come from? He is unbelievable!!! They need to let him sing more. What a voice! The way he did Loser was spectacular, and Foolish Heart, what can I say, I am speechless. They all seemed to be having a great time. One of the best lineups ever. Thanks guys...can't wait untill Summer Tour!!!

Hey Dino I agree with you that amherst and orlando are my favorites with rcmh 2/24 next with 2/20 utica next. We have similar tastes, I bet you like 73-74 mostly.
