Always try to guess what they are going to open with but havn't got it right yet this tour. Passenger was a suprise. The four shows I have seen the band has been tight!!!
Show started slow and bluesy with Next time/King Bee
Hell in Da Bucket was smokin'....Bobby vocals were awesome
Cumberland Blues blew the roof off!!!
First four songs of the 2nd set had the place rockin'
Then they brought us back to earth with some sweeeeet jams.
Had a really good time!!! Tick tock tick tock...till the summer tour
CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!

Smokin hot show!!! JK`s guitar was on fire!! He ripped it up on Sugaree & China/rider....Mark Karan might have to start looking for another job!! Bobby plays off John so well ! Phils bass melodys were magical . Phils ritter bass was no where in the house. He`s back to playing his old custon "alembic". Sounds as sweet as ever!!
This is by far the best post Jerry line-up! My 4th show and it`s gets better and better!!
Thanks JK for taking the pictures with us after the show!!!
Just can`t wait for the summer tour!!! !>>>Peace!

A very enjoyable show. A lot of great musical moments. JK and Chimenti were solid indeed.
DayTripper, Jenkintown
Joe, Mark Karan is busy touring with his own band. Something hes been wanting to do for years. But I sure agree with you that his job might be in jeopardy after seeing and hearing how good Bobby sounds with John K. It would help Rat Dog to have another voice in the band to help Bobby. A friend of mine that went to Jamacia last month with them said Bobby gave rat dog two years off so we should be seeing Furthur for awhile!!! "got my fingers crossed"
BillyO, Trenton,New Jersey
odd venue plus the whole casino thing but the show was solid not too psyched to see anyone sing Stella other than Jerry but that may just be a personal preference. looks like weir all bound to cover just a little more ground.

Hey now looks like the band and crew are bringing it! Excellent but you need the right human fuels to keep it truckin on. I would like to recommend the band and crew and their dancing audiences eat Clif Bars; you can find them at the grocery store and they come in a variety of flavors. Oak bark extract has incredible vascular incentives too. Prior to traveling to areas this summer I would also recommend eating honey native to the local areas there, internet orders are helpful for aquiring these. to help prevent allergies from pollen or unfamilar nature to the human anatomy. Additionally buying and eating honey upon arrival in small quaniities will help some too. Ok sounding like you're rocking, stay well and have fun. Peace yall.
Health Nut, Nashville, Tenn
Yeh >>> got dosed one time from a guy who told me to eat the honey .....Everyone must stay for the ride on this bus....This band is fuckin HOT!!!!!
BillyO, trenton
This band is improving by the hour, and that said.....last night was the latest show played. What does that tell ya! This show was titled "The Grateful Dead plays live jam music in your face till you are too exhausted to applaud when it's over". Once again, I cannot pick a highlight... it is all just too good. Remember those days when you wondered when they came around, if you would get a good show or a great show....no more.....every show I go to with this band, is great. The Sugaree was truly a masterpiece to behold. But the Dark Star.....what a treat!!!! This jam rocked the place to the bone...Get this show and you will not believe what you are listening to. These guys just keep bringing it hard, and I dont know how they do it, but I am very, very grateful they are!

Killer. When did Phil go back to his old bass?
vinnyp, Marlboro, NJ
Heavens to Betsy!!!Cover me with honey and roll around in the dirt!! lets smoke some wheatgrass, snort some almond dust, lick the oak and bark like doGS!!!That was fuckin over the top ROCKIN!Let your eyes bug out of your skull and pull on your toung while undulating like a deep water squid.Roll some bat guano into your dreads and bathe in alpaca urine!!This is a sweeter blend than the traditional ganga gooball stinky run of the mill patchouli rodent selling cheap wares in the lot...you know who you are. But after all the jacks are in there boxes, and those clowns have gone to bed..the wind whispers ...JeRRY.We can rebuild it..stronger,faster,able to TRIP out on a single dose. If this aint the real thing than its close enough to pretend...Bring back the worlds!!! Double dip some sunshine!!!

Can someone please tell me who was playing Drums? Jay Lane wasn't there was he?
cass, NJ
Joe Russo on the drum kit
Jay Lane on percussion.
Jay Lane on percussion.
Rosey Reds, Camptown
2 letdown shows after the epic wed radio city show. the band appears tired and ready to move on, having given it their all in the east, ready to rock chitown. both first sets at the casinos were feeble and uninspired, and the second sets were good not great, unable to capture the magic that was in nyc and cornell.
matt k, fort lee nj
Well fucken said "Cheshire Cat".... Well fucken said!!!!
I must say..I`ve seen 11 shows so far and I must say....every time I see them I have this feeling in my soul Jerrys in the house smiling down!!!!!

Anyone figure out how they planned Summer Tour? It seems like every venue is 6 hours driving between shows. Also is there any chance that they will go below the Mason Dixon line. JK...let's push for some shows around your current residence (I think Takoma Park, MD).
Cosmic Charlie, Baltimore, MD
Another great show!!! my favorite moments... the Wheel...Dark Star....Unbroken chain... The venue blows, hey Trump do you treat your gambling customers so crappy??? long lines for anything to drink, long lines at the restrooms, untrained ushers WTF??? I didn't think the band sounded tired or bored or ready to leave the East coast. You nay sayers should take a deep breath. These guys have done a grinding tour, playing every night or two for a month. Will you have that kind of stamina when you're pushing 70?? If you get to push 70?? Jerry once said that playing guitar is like playing baseball. How many 70 year olds in the Yankees??? Quit yur bitchin, already. you're either on the bus, or you're not!! That simple.
Dan Hess, Wayne NJ/Twilght Zone
All Good for sure, musically. Venue was a little strange as far as layout. From 4th row band looked and sounded tight. Bobby really took a deep breath after Gloria which was a killer encore. At one point Phil just stone cold stared down John as if to say let it rip man, and he did. I do miss Billy and Mickey although Joe Russo is doing a fine job. Overall the past 2 weeks on the east coast has been a blast. Cornell, Radio city all highlights. I need some sleep. Furthur on.
Billy Sunday, Boonton, NJ
JUST BRINGS A SMILE TO MY FACE THINKING ABOUT IT. MY FAV FROM THE EAST COAST.PEACE FROM THE WOLFPACK
ST. STEPHEN, VIRGINIA BEACH
The show rocked! The 2 female backing vocalists were a plus! Does anyone know who they are? Restroom/consession lines were awful! Absolutely BRUTAL! Security guards were friendly upfront!!! Great time!!!!!!!!
Mike Angelucci, Norristown, Pa.
I sat front row, rocking show, but not steller.Bobby looked tired.Phil's mike was cutting out in the second set,he kept laughing. Were not tight, but did catch some lighting in the bottle in some tunes.Peace
Paul Pacera, collingswood
Bought the Soundboard CD right after the show and have been reliving it, along with XM and archive.org, ever since. Can't get enough - like I've turned the clock back 15 years, but in a slightly cockeyed way. Seems fitting. Now I'm bringing my kids to the shows. What a great experience.
Funny seeing the mixing of folks at Trump, everyone looking for the miracle before the show. Kids with their one arm raised, fingers pointing to Jerry and the slots players 30 feet away raising up to the one armed bandits. To each his own.
Trying to keep my head in it while I rest my bones until the Summer. I liked Bob on Sugaree and Gloria closer - strong. And he certainly took the bull by the horn ripping out the frst 4 songs of the night. Lost/Saint to open the second set gave me some nice symetry as I really enjoyed it when they ripped it up the boardwalk in Asbury Park in December.
Magnolia Mountain is growing on me as a signature John song. Keyboards and back-up singers were superlative. What a joyful run. See you in Herkimer, Brooklyn, Penn's Peak and Phila.

Taking requests..? Hope so. Hey JK, any chance you can talk Bob and Phil into adding "That's What Love Will Make You Do" to the repertoire ?? I REALLY enjoyed you playing it at Hampton Beach last summer ! Thanks for your consideration.
Ruddigger VanPelt, Worcester, MA
Venue was not the best. Floor should have been general admission as chairs were stacked and pushed all over the place. The band sounds the best it has. The girls sound great and are a huge compliment when bobby forgets the lyrics.
RB, Clifton, NJ
Phils mike wasnt cutting out...DUH! its turned off so he can talk to the sound man and the other players. They have EAR PEICES PAUL! {this negates your "tight" comment} Come on MAN!
who cares, where ever
Somebody tell Bobby he looks tired,All this touring for 40 yrs is really messing with his beauty sleep! ;-]By the way Paul...if your front row, i FUCKIN HOPE IT WAS ROCKIN!!! You should sit in the back, Bobby looks like a young Wilford Brimley. Now stand in water, stick one finger in that bottle of lightning and grab some power lines {>>>!!!BBZZZZZZZZ <<
Who cares even less, anywhere but collingswood
Didn't understand why John sang so little. would much rather hear him sing Sugaree than Bobby. He didn't even sing backup on Saint or Rider. Overall, a decent show with Bucket and smokin" Cumberland the highlights.
Ry, Ambler
Awesome show- rocking first set with some songs not often played, surprise Passenger opener, great Crazy Fingers>Cumberland (and what a surprise that was!!!)
Second set opened up a little loose with Lost Sailor, picked up with Saint. China>Rider was one of the best I've heard, and into Wheel (!)>Dark Star>Stella...superb setlist, tight playing, great audience! Epic show!
