Furthur took all of us on a journey through the cosmos that none of us will ever forget. So grateful for Bobby and Phil and their passion for the music.

Good solid show last night! Not my favorite song selection, but these guys bring it to the table every night they play! After watching these guys play for 25 years the music never stops. I am guessing New England and NYC are due for some sick ass set lists. Go see these guys play while they are still out on the road. Highlights for me from Baltimore were Loser,US Blues,Foolish Heart, Eyes Of The World and I Know You Rider!

Another wonderful show. Got to watch 5 people around me who were seeing the band for the first time become believers. 10 shows and I have yet to be let down yet. I can't say that about to many bands... The unpredictability of these sets is refreshing!

The night before in Reading the synergy was a little low...not sure how much was the crowd coming in from a cold rainy day and how much was the band, but it seemed like it was well into the second set before the two came together and the show grew wings. Not so last night in B'more...maybe because of the night before everyone was primed for a hot time and everyone delivered. These guys are so good and have been doing this for so long that it is easy to disregard how much depends on what the crowd brings. Last night in Baltimore the band brought it and the crowd responded...and vice versa. After 35+ years of seeing every incarnation of the Dead, I feel able to say with some measure of objectivity...this really was one of the good ones.

I heard the best tune in Baltimore was donor rap.

CG , Wisconsin
I wouldn't believe everything I hear.
Donor rap was the best tune UNTIL they picked up instruments.
Anyone that actually likes the music would have been in heaven at the show. The intensity of the band and the audience was on their feet the entire show.
Cosmic Charlie, Pride of Cucamonga,Black Throated Wind- just a couple of the wild tunes that made this a truly memorable show.
Musically the boys were tight- there were a couple of times where the rythym was off a bit but the rock kept coming- the only person that seemed bothered was Phil but once the train was back on the track the good times rolled through the night.
Not many places you can go and just have a careless good time with real music and happy people.

CG Honey, I think you got on the wrong Bus........You may want to check out the Joker with the 99 cent special that I met at JFK before.................

Either that, or as I experienced many moons ago, on my way home from an RFK gig where the blue light special stopped me to say Hello........He advised me to maybe change my license plate from GDTRFBad to GDTRFBeautiful*

All in ALL, it helped me become more GRATEFUL! ; - )

To CG... Dude, what is your problem??? Just about every review I've read of yours is negative! Why do you surround yourself with this scene if you don't like anything it has to offer? Were you at the show? I doubt you were, so piss off if "what you heard" is all you have to go by!!! I'm unfortunate to have not see Jerry play, so all I have is Furthur, The Dead, Ratdog, & DSO to get my Dead fix in. So stop going around harshing everyone's good spirits & energy with your bullshit banter & piss poor opinions!!!! I think I speak for alot of heads on here when I say I'm sick of your negative comments & wouldn't be sad if I never read another review from your sorry ass!!! & who made you the f*cking Grateful Dead authority anyway??!!

But anyway, the show was awesome with great energy & the boys were seamless in their transitions. The Spoonful was outta nowhere and an absolute treat! The Hey Jude reprise during Dear Mr. Fantasy was pretty sick too. Great show, and I've yet to be at a show that I didn't have a spectacular time!!! Thank you guys for keeping the REAL spirit & music of the Dead alive!

wasn't at this show, but how could Phil singing Eyes of the World be anything less than excrutiating?

Went to Reading and Baltimore and had a blast. The boys are playing with intensity. They are just nailing somany songs. Met Jeff and John after the Baltimore show. Took pictures and spoke for a while. Really nice guys. John seems a little taken back by all the attention. Can't wait for the Garden. Short road trip but it was amazing. If you have a chance to see them you must. Great band on a roll!!!!!!!!

Daniel,
You can't let him(CG) get to you. He's always on here mucking it up - probably upset bc WI gets no love. I'm so jealous bc I was a few decisions from driving to Baltimore. Next time there won't be a choice haha. One of my good buddies was there, family in town... it all lined up I'm just blind

I love how the Spoonful wasn't planned. BTW, Around and Around first time live!!! U.S. Blues finally and not an Encore! And Touch wasn't the original encore... I wonder what else they had up their sleeve..Wow please start the next tour early :)

Phil, NC
JK...just felt like having a laugh. Man is everyone uptight. I heard it was awesome. I am not that negative. Read Hampton from this year.

CG, Wisconsin
Great show - just wished that the folks around me would have listened loudly and spoke much more softly. Way too much babble during the songs.

John Verrier, Falls Church
ignore CG

.....but to be honest after going to both Reading and Baltimore I would say that the energy was more intense in Reading PA-- due to the small venue right on the railroad tracks and a packed house versus the massive void of the cavernous 1st Mariner.

Baltimore though is truly the home show for John and he was well represented in the song list. Let's face it-- this band would not even come close to being as good as they are without the lead guitarist resembling Grateful Dead as we have never heard since the big guy left us. And I speak from experience having first seen the Dead in 1972 at an empty Spectrum in Philadelphia and 108 times thereafter.

The completely different set lists as expected require careful criticism because this band is really rockin'. YOU CAN'T COMPARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT SONG SELECTIONS. EACH HAS ITS MERITS....

This line-up is the hottest ticket since GD ended in '95-- I have now been to eight Furthur shows in 2010. I may be getting a little old to follow these guys all over the mid-Atlantic but on second thought I am a bit younger than Bobby so I am still young at heart and this band makes me FEEL younger as they instill me with energy and inspire me with musicianship unparallelled in rock'n'roll.

As a Reading native it was awesome to see the band in my hometown so I am obviously biased due to the home field advantage.

Everyone has their favorite tunes and Reading in my opinion just had more uptempo crowdpleasers than the Baltimore show. Of course the fact that the drive home took ten minutes also affects your mindset at a show as well.

Every show has its high points-- and I will be at the Garden tomorrow to see where they occur the ninth time around.

ROCK ON GUYS ! YOU SOUND GGGGGGGGGGGGGREAT !

mcleary, Reading PA
A very appreciative and friendly crowd was treated to an outstanding evening of music. Don't let the set list fool you because the music was amazing! The sound was great, Phil smiled all night, Bobby rocked, and the crowd danced and sang the night away. Truly a memorable performance by a great band.
