the first Dark Hollow was in Broomfield, CO after Crazy Fingers.
Really got some gems here! Dark Hollow included. Easy Wind (weird beginning), Operator, Smokestack> unplanned SPoonful >He's Gone - killer stuff - & obviously Bob's stab at Oh! Darling. A wonderful tribute to Pigpen all around.

Yep, this would be the second Dark Hollow.
Denver Man, Colorado
As a matter of fact, the set list for 2/12/11 doesn't even have Dark Hollow. It was right after Crazy Fingers. I swear it was!!

Crisp playing and some personal gems - Dark Hollow, Scarlet/Fire. love the way Bob and John play off one another. The band really made Days Between into a powerful number too. Phils vocals on Eyes were in good form.
This venue was really holding some great vibes. Aisles and crossways for peope to dance, plenty of room on the sides, nice and clean - a polar opposite to the Orpheum! This is a great place to see a show, and anyone who wanted to, could get in. THe ushers didn't want people to smoke (understandable) but everything else was OK by them. It is a big open high ceilinged place, though I did hear the snare echoing off the back wall. And it looked like the balcony section was pretty far back. Otherwise, A for Venue, A for Show.

lovely show with a great vibe. I had hoped for more than a minimal nod t Mardi Gras- no more Neville Brothers and Aiko. there were indeed days bEtween.

Wasn't at this show, but have been to enough to say this with some clout..... The scarlet and ensuing jam>fire was out of control. Superior stuff. Great show. The band is on fire.
