My strange heroes lead me on....Great night of music. Was wondering if we were going to get the "leftovers" after those amazing shows up north but the guys brought the good stuff down here below the mason- dixon line.unfortunate that the Pat Center kept folks from dancing in the aisles, afraid they will all catch fire or something, so the chairs and those of us who are too old to dance for any sustainable period of time were in the way..I had the misfortune of being next to a tall man with giant elbows. Still did not take away from getting to Terrapin and beyond!

Great night! The band has really come together. Highlights for me were Deal - great ending to set 1. Weather Report, Terrapin Station and Fire on the Mountain in set 2.
Keep touring!

Great energy. Band was well rested with 2 days off out of 4. Tightest that i have seen the band.
Loved whiskey in jar.
The fire and cumberland were awesome. Just an extremely well played show.

Grgeat Show.
My first GD show was 3/17/1993, so I wanted to see how well Bob and Phil were doing 18 years later.
The band was very tight and powerful, but I was looking forward to a more of a party show, than a power ballad night.
I enjoyed Weather report Suite, and Cumberland blues and Fire on the Mountian. the second set was Def better than the first set and the Sound seemd better.
the Baltimore Md show back in November 2010 was my favorite so far.. but I am glad I made it for another St patricks day.

The Deal rocked at the end of the first set!! Fire and the Terrapin Suite filled the room with smiles. Virginia loves you guys and keep on trucking!!!

Seeing the band is always great. They are tight and obviously enjoying playing with each other. But this was quite simply the SLOWEST jam band show I have ever seen out of about 300 of them. After a very slow first set, I expected a blow out for the second set, but set #2 was even slower. I felt sorry for drummer Joe Russo as his talents were wasted last night. This was probably a great show for the old-schoolers and those who don't really want to dance. But for those of us that want to wiggle and shake it, this was a very anti-climactic event. As we all know, the setlist means everything, and I didn't like this one at all.

What a a joker, the setlist is not everything.
3 factors to a great show:
A bust out
Song selection
Quality of play
I have been to terrible shows with great setlists and great shows with ok setlists. Go watch fish.

When will some people realize its about the music and not about the speed or the name of a song? the fact that these 7 artist wanna get out there and play for us night after night is all most people need. As for 2 of those artists they damn sure have proved their point. and can play whatever the F they want too. Maybe some people need to see 300 more jambands so they can enjoy the music and quit worrying about how slow it was.

And Furthur isn't a "Jam Band" - the don't fit into just one area of music like that. Don't try to capture something so free, just let it be what it is.
These shows are sounding great! Thanks to gdradio for playing them the next day

There are many pieces spun together that create that Ultimate Sound experience.........
The first is to arrive with no destination in mind and allow the evening dynamics to carry you away. If you got on the train to get to NYC and end up on a sunny Gulf stream beach in FLA, then you have a lot of adjustment to make.
The second is that everyONE is feeling Good, healthy and vibrant with their internal spark in tune. The atmosphere is one of harmony in a place that has that positive Karma.
Then, the music takes shape with all the elements and chemistry unfolding into a new alchemy. You dive into the slipstream, and it takes you through the tides, currents, waterfalls, flowing rivers and gentle creeks ~
Be careful to not get distracted and feel with a Grateful Heart. You can then travel to favorite destinations, fly over new skies, reach full gallop over open plains or walk like a tiger through the jungle. You can reach new galaxies when the rhythm and tempo unfold to full circle or reach an infinity figure 8 motion in elliptical form.
It is the Greatness of these Magicians, including the amazing road crew and their techno-wonders that work tirelessly to bring us to the Ultimate.....Where no Man or Woman has gone and the Grand Prize is to get your Face Stolen right off your Head!
Cheers to riding Further in 2011 and all this New Golden Road has to offer!

Overall, an enjoyable show, but nothing to write home about. It took the sound engineer about 2 or 3 songs during the first set to get the mix right (they started off a little muddled). But, the show was SO SLOW. Highlight was Fire on the Mountain>Cumberland Blues. I'd give the show 3 out of 5.

A solid show, but not their strongest night. Took the band till halfway through pride to wake and catch up with Jeff who absolutely dominated all night. Was fun to catch the dire and whiskey in the jar. Candyman was a energy peak of the first set, besides the deal which is pretty cookin. Second set jammed and grooved well for grow, fire, cumberland. The liberty encore was fun although was hoping for us blues. Jeff dominated the night and thought phils bass was to quite in the mix. there is no doubt they always are pushing it furthur.

The setlist forgot to add Standing on the Moon. It came after Terrapin.

The tears were streaming down my face during Standing on the Moon. I closed my eyes and thought I was hearing Jerry singing "I'd rather be with you" instead of Bobby!! Overall a good show with a killer Deal to close set #1 and the full Terrapin Suite in set #2.
