What a fun night in one of my favorite places. But seriously, the police presence in the parking lot was obnoxious. Those bozos were actually wasting time smelling people's beverages to check for alcohol. They had the whole perimeter of the lot surrounded with dudes using binoculars! To top it off, they had the screws tightened so tight on vending that you couldn't find anything to eat. I've never seen anything like it. At least I felt safe and well protected from the crazd grilled cheese salesman. Sheesh, get a f-ing clue Shoreline!
Denver Man, Colorado
Agree with Denver Man! At this rate "oops there goes another one"... TOO BAD SHORELINE... What used to be the *MOST* laid back venue on the planet has turned into a money-making police state.
Nonetheless, the music was EXCELLENT! Highlights were Cumberland, The Eleven, Deal, and Franklin's with a ripped up Miorning Dew!

The boys came to rock last night........ I agree with dkstar, the cumberland was raunchy....... country metal..... The Deal was just like is supposed to be...inspired The band was having fun and they have so much confidence now on top of the chemistry we've all seen they have. Solid, solid setlist...............but the music was even better than the set list.....they could have played the theme to Peanuts and would ripped it......... Smoking show...... See ya'll tonite!

Great show. This band really plays Bertha and Cumberland so well. Played those two in Eugene on 09/16 and it rocked that night too. Second set highlight was The Eleven. But I totally agree about the cops. It was horrible. They were everywhere and there was no lot scene. They were cruising in their patrol cars and also walking about. I also thought the event staff search before getting in was a bit much.
Lester Hayes, Los Angeles
That was a smokin show. My first Further lineup... John K. has great style and tone. I was really impressed..... And for the cops situation, before The Dead played Shoreline in '09, someone stole a cop car right in front of Will Call, right under their noses at the NIN/Jane's show, and the cops still aren't over it...
