First time seeing this line up. Certainly playing well together. The stars of the show were the drummer and keyboardist. They really seem to feed off each other and keyboards stole the show on a number of occasions. Phil was solid if not a little quiet in the mix compared to usual. Bob was good- was a little disappointed in the china/rider transition. I guess sometimes his little solo there just doesnt come off- last night was a miss. Which brings me to JK: great guitar player but no real magic last night. Terrapin suite wasprobably his best. I don't know if he is always that tentative or what, but he seemed to be either holding back or perhaps just being tasteful about what he tries to play- understandable considering the other great musicians on stage. Standing on the moon did bring tears- but that was more Bobby than JK. I need to listen again because I might have just missed jK in the mix. Verizon was nice, sounded good for an outdoor venue. People were nice and pretty tolerant. Lawn was immaculate before the show, like golf course nice. Wonder how it looks now??

A good show for sure, but JK seemed to be holding back a bit, and the band was not firing on all cylinders like they were in Simpsonville. Still fun, but weak at places. For example, no lead guitar during Sampson.

The encore was smokin' hot however. With U.S. Blues>The End they finally kicked it into high gear at the end of the show. Phil gave a shout out to the audience during the donor rap saying "we aren't shit without you."
The last of three shows for me, wrapping up the "sweet tea" chunk of the tour.

Nice show, yet a touch mellow. The second set was exceptionally trippy and thought Bobby was utterly fantastic. Will disagree with an earlier review, as Phil was on his game all night--the driving force, if you will. Great show; great band. Looking forward to west coast!

Great fun ! Pretty decent venue, although the lot not opening till 4:30 was a drag (is this a thing?). Danced my ass off up thru most of Terrapin, and then kicked back and floated away on that stellar UChain + SOTM. Was very relieved that U.S. Blues was not the last song of the tour ;)

Volume was definitely an issue in the 1st set, but everyone seemed louder in the 2nd set (I had a hard time hearing JK for sure in the first set). After amping up the energy pretty good during the first part of the set through Tom Thumb, energy level dropped WAY down during the 2nd half of the set. R&C was good, but not great (and that's one of my faves), & Deal wasn't exactly our top shelf closer, but whatever.
Phil dominated the 2nd set, with bombs galore throughout. Band was as tight as a swiss watch during the more complex parts of Terrapin & Unbroken, and really let loose during China>Rider jams.
US blahs is kinda predictable there, but the crowd seemed to be into it, and weaving outta USB into The End was cool and done masterfully (cool nod to all of the beatles tunes this yr). After the heat of the 2nd set, which was probably the best I have seen Furthur play, the encore was sorta an afterthought anyway though. 2nd set made me wish I had done more than just the last show!

The show was utterly fantastic. These guys have been playing 3-4 nights in a row with a break here and there and all the traveling. The performance for their last show on the eastern tour the night before Jerry's b-day was wonderful. Terrapin was awesome, liked the beatles cover of maxwell's silver hammer. Couldn't ask for anything more from the band. I can't wait to see them again. Bought the 3 cd set off the soundboard right after the show.
